Kids Shower Curtains: A Great Way To Enjoy Bath Time

One of the first things parents learn is that if they want their children to spend time anyplace is that it needs to be kid friendly. That is one reason many parents spend time and money creating a welcoming environment for their children in the bedroom. Yet, when it comes to the bathroom their children are regulated to using, they give little thought to making a child friendly setting here. Does this mean that making a bathroom more child friendly means you need to go towards a huge expense modifying the region? No, it does not mean that at all. In fact, there are many small and fairly inexpensive things you can do to make a bathroom more child friendly. One of the simplest and least costly changes you can make is to simply put up a kid’s shower curtain.

What is it about a kid’s shower curtain that makes it so helpful? It adds a lot of fun color and child friendly design to any bathroom instantaneously. Finding kid’s shower curtains aren’t not all that difficult and there are scores of designs to select from. Of these many designs, there will be several your kids will outright adore. Mermaids, jungle animals, construction equipment are only a small selection of the designs commonly found in today’s kid’s show curtains. Such shower curtains take an average adult bathroom and transform it into an environment where the child is not only willing to spend time but will also look forward to it.

You might even be surprised to discover that the child that was once very tricky to get into the tub will start to ask if it is bath time now.How could a child go from rushing to brush his/her teeth to wanting to spend more time in the bathroom and brush them thoroughly? Can something as fundamental as changing a shower curtain truly make the child more willing to spend time in a bathroom?

It’s simple. Just as adults tend to spend more time in bathrooms where they can feel at ease and content so will your child. While adult comfort may require a number of additional steps to take such as repainting the bathroom or outright remodeling it, it is the little things that can pique the interest of the minds of little kids. Sure your daughter may be inspired by that mermaid kid’s shower curtain to “swim” a bit in the tub and your son just might bring that small car into the tub to run up the road on that construction shower curtain, but that is part of being a child and relaxing in an place that is suitable to them.

Does this mean that integrating a new kid’s shower curtain to the mix will automatically change your kid’s hygiene habits immediately? No, but it will require them to spend a lot more time in an environment that is more kid friendly than most would assume possible. You may discover they brush their teeth a little better or more frequently. If for no other reason, you child will be far less reluctant to take a bath because the bathroom will become an area that they can have fun.
